Behind the screen
Hi, I’m Piotr.
I never outgrew my childhood curiosity. I want to understand mechanisms, test ideas and create, from electronics and software to sport, longevity and music.

The curiosity that stayed with me
My childhood curiosity never disappeared. I still want to look inside things, understand how they work and try my own ideas. That is where the variety in my projects comes from: electronics, software, training, data analysis, music and AI.
In my Big Five questionnaire results, Openness to Experience was 90%, and Intellect, the scale describing interest in ideas and the inclination toward intellectual engagement, was 20/20. This is one way I describe that drive to explore and understand.
I am also an extreme introvert and tend to keep to myself. I express that drive for intellectual engagement primarily through learning, experimenting and creating.
I see HFA as my superpower: it lets me enter hyperfocus and get deeply into a subject. Certain patterns sometimes irritate me, but I try to keep that in check. I would not change anything. :)
Big Five / IPIP scale terminologyIt started with electronics
I have been fascinated by electronics since childhood. I took devices apart, learned to repair them and tried to understand how they worked. Discovering microcontrollers was a milestone: I could change a device’s behaviour through software without modifying its PCB.
I have designed and built audio amplifiers, MPPT controllers, CNC milling machines and remote-controlled vehicles, among other things. FeCl₃·6H₂O still brings back memories of etching my own circuit boards. :)
From embedded software to the whole process
I studied embedded systems at AGH University of Science and Technology while teaching myself programming in various languages. Working as an embedded software engineer at Fideltronik gave me experience with both software close to the hardware and higher-level programming. I introduced CI and test suites wherever possible.
I’m interested in work environments that let programmers focus on the problem that matters. That drives my interest in DevOps, CI/CD, software architecture, containerization, Linux and process automation.
INVOLV3D: electronics, software and responsibility for the system
Those experiences led me to co-found INVOLV3D. As co-founder and CTO, I’m responsible for electronics and software, sound system architecture, identifying potential problems early and choosing technologies suited to the task.
Our work brings together 3D digitization, hardware and R&D. It is where my technical interests become part of solutions we build together.
Curiosity beyond technology
I enjoy understanding mechanisms, from algorithms and systems to physics, biology and chemistry. I’m interested in machine learning, AI and language models, and have followed blockchain technology for years.
I also enjoy playing chess and strategy games such as Civilization and Age of Empires.
Biological cyborg: sport and longevity
I am deeply fascinated by sport and longevity. My personal project is to build a powerful strength-and-endurance hybrid: combining long-distance running with strength developed through powerlifting, informed by scientific papers and continuous tracking.
My current priority is endurance and maintaining that earlier strength. From my own observations, I am losing very little of it. My working description is a “biological cyborg”: understanding my own body through training, science and measurements. The Tedd’mhen journal I wrote connects to this approach.
Training also helps me think across all kinds of subjects. Ideas often come while moving, and I develop them afterwards through my projects, including music.
Tedd’mhen — my training journal and analysisFrom air drumming to making music with models
My musical interests have included techno, dubstep, drum and bass, house and classical music. I was always drawn to pretending to play the drums, until I first discovered beatboxing. I have now been beatboxing for 14 years; as a teenager, I practiced new skills intensively.
I later experimented with an RC-505, followed by making music on a PC. Over the last 2 years, I have become deeply interested in AI music. Today, beatboxing is the main source material in my model-based workflow, and I develop those ideas further with my own techniques.
I use models including HeartMuLa and ACE-Step, as well as my own hybrid approaches. Along the way, I am learning the architecture and operation of multimodal transformer models. I publish music as MistrzdYoda on YouTube.
